Vet December 31, 2010
Had the little sweetie to the vet this am, he hurt his rear elbow last night. He is limping around,keeping his weight off the leg. The vet said his leg isn't broken, and it's most likely a soft tissue injury. He was put on Rimadyl, and ordered to rest...ha ha ha...sure he will rest! Hopefully it isn't anything serious and heals up with a bit of down time. Monty weighed in at 80#. He is 9.5 months old. Our vet feels his weight is perfect. He has only gained 3 pounds in the last couple of months, so I think his growing is close to being done except for a bit of filling out. He is plenty big for me. I love him long and lean. Petey is so short and stocky, side by side they look like two different breeds.
